Antique Gay City

Posted on Sat,Dec 25, 2021Sun,Dec 26, 2021 by Trixie Starr

This past week, a friend sent me a couple of screenshots saved by @pepperives. There was a facebook post in one of the community boards about someone who didn’t want vinegar on their avocado sandwich and the server refused to change the sandwich. The post on the community board quickly devolved into complaints about customer…

Posted on Sat,Dec 25, 2021Wed,Dec 28, 2022 by Trixie Starr

Maybe you know, maybe you don’t know, maybe you don’t care, but Planet Fitness in Hudson closed right after Thanksgiving for renovations. Which is a REALLY BAD TIME of year for a gym to close! Some of us are trying to lose weight between the holidays, or at least not gain any more (let’s set…

Winter Walk Winning Windows 2021

Posted on Sat,Dec 11, 2021Wed,Jan 5, 2022 by Trixie Starr

Hi Hudson – Did you have a good time at Winter Walk? The weather was great! I was out and about, passing out my walking maps, as Ms. Claus – Santa’s (still bitter) ex-wife. I think it’s great that there’s a drag queen walking around Hudson on Warren Street as Ms. Claus. Little kids would…

Hello Hudson – It’s Winter Walk Weekend! Someone asked me, what it’s like….I said, “Well, it’s amazing, Warren Street is packed.” The weather is supposed to be perfect (fingers crossed) this year. Warren Street is filled with people, performers, food, and music. Wear/bring a mask; many places require it to enter. I’ll be out and…
