People come and go so quickly around Hudson – and so do its restaurants! It’s hard to keep up on all the openings and closings in a city of less than 6,000 people.
(Correct me if I’m wrong, but I want to say Food Studio had three different locations in Hudson – a record?)

Cascades
When Cascades closed at 407 Warren Street (now, home of Savory Bites), Hudsonians were devastated. Fortunately, the food baton was passed and Cascades reopened as a food truck outside Upper Depot at 708 State Street, by 7th Street
They are open Mondays through Fridays serving lunch from 11:00am-3:00pm. There’s seating on Upper Depot’s patio.
Cascades still caters events with large platters of sandwiches – you can never go wrong with a sandwich platter from Cascades! For more information, visit their website, here.

Casa Latina
Casa Latina moved from its Green Street location to 101 Fairview Avenue, right next to Stella’s Pizzeria (technically, they are both still in the City of Hudson).
I miss the dog-friendly outdoor seating and optional truck-counting, but their new indoor location is huge, brightly-painted, and very comfortable. Plus, they now have a full bar to compliment their dinner menu. SOLD!
Their prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant is still run by the sweetest family.
They are open Monday-Saturday, 10am-9pm. Visit their website, here.

The new logo is giving Disney Epcot Mexico Pavilion Three Caballeros boat ride vibes.

Yummy Kitchen
If you loved Yummy Kitchen when it was a food truck on Warren and 5th Streets, you’ll love it even more now that there’s a place to sit. In the alleyway by Helsinki off North 4th and Columbia, nestled in the lower level of the Cannonball Factory, the new Yummy Kitchen space is a blast!
Light and healthy asian fusion cuisine, with edible flowers, makes any Yummy Kitchen dish extra yummy! One-of-a-kind vintage plates is a very Hudsonian touch.
They are open Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-3pm. Check out their website and menu here.
