This time, we’re headed to Camp Firewood for the absurd, endlessly quotable, and deeply beloved cult classic Wet Hot American Summer (2001). Set on the final day of camp in 1981, this delirious send-up of summer camp movies has everything: talking vegetable cans, Skylab, short shorts, talent show disasters, and a surprising amount of jazzercise.

Directed by David Wain and starring a stacked ensemble including David Hyde Pierce, Janeane Garofalo, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Christopher Meloni, Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, and Michael Ian Black, it’s a who’s who of early 2000s comedy legends before (most) hit it big. Add in a soundtrack featuring Jefferson Starship, KISS, and Rick Springfield, and you’ve got a time capsule masquerading as a fever dream.
