Meatloaf, Sushi, Popcorn and Sno-Caps

Posted on May 28, 2020September 7, 2020 by Rich Volo

Red Dot is open on Fridays and Mondays for pick up. The chicken parm is amazing and there’s always meatloaf and burger Mondays. Check their facebook page for the latest specials! Watch the video above. Alana does a better job explaining than I can.

Like me, you probably have a drawer in your kitchen filled with old menus, duck and soy sauce packages, and a couple of plastic-wrapped plastic forks and spoons. For some reason, I can’t throw it away – even though I’ll never use them!

You can now find menus of takeout places (Chinese/Sushi/Thai), on this website. Finally, you can throw out the old menus in that drawer and make space for something meaningful in your life.

Check the menus out: WASABI | FOOD SING | RED CHOPSTICK | SPRING GARDEN

ISAAN THAI STAR’s menu is online

Since I’ve moved here, I’ve always said, “Red Chopsticks” -with an S. But, it’s singular! “Red Chopstick”. (I just edited the listing, because I had it wrong). It’s been years, but maybe when I finally say, without hesitation, RED CHOPSTICK, singular, then I’ve become a “local”. It’s a test.

Where can I get pizza? Where can I get ice cream? These are the comfort food questions people ask daily. Everyone’s gaining weight together, so don’t worry. I’m thinking we can wait until Phase Three, then start dieting.

Go to TrixiesList.com > BIZ SEARCH. Select the ICE CREAM category, then click on FILTER. Ta-dah! Ice Cream Places! Search on Mexican. Or Pizza.

Not every place is input yet, but, with time, as they reopen…

A few helpful Trixie Tips for this week:

There’s a new Tyme and Co menu and it’s fab! They are open for curbside pickup.

Did you know that the Madison Theatre on Fairview does half-priced pizza Mondays and 50 cent wings on Wednesday? Yass! If you’re not going to eat Meatloaf Monday at the Red Dot, that is…

The Madison Theatre is NOT the only theater in the 12534 doing curbside pickup. No, not at all! Spotlight Cinemas on Fairview is doing CURBSIDE CONCESSIONS on Saturdays. Yes!

‘What is that, Trixie?‘, you ask.

I don’t know. (If I was a real journalist, I would call them and find out…but, I’d rather just guess. Fake News!)

My guess is that you can order a tub of popcorn, fountain soda, and Sno- Caps, and pick them up on the curb….sans cinema! Then, walk down Fairview while eating a tub of popcorn. Why not? Your life is the “movie”!

Cinema verité!
