Community Seed Week at Talbott & Arding
Talbott & Arding will dedicate a large table at the front of the store for a free, self-serve community seed exchange.
The table will have labelled boxes for donated seeds, pens and seed envelopes for you to take seeds home. We will have printed information about why planting from seeds and saving seeds is so important for biodiversity and the health of our planet and ourselves.
We will also be selling seed packets from Hudson Valley Seed Company, and a dollar from each sale will go to Kite’s Nest for River City Garden, a intergenerational and multicultural community garden located in Hudson NY.
