Summer may be winding down, but the Mac-Haydn Theatre is keeping the good times rolling with the sun-soaked, island-inspired musical Escape to Margaritaville, running August 21–31. Featuring the beloved songs of Jimmy Buffett, this feel-good getaway blends romance, comedy, and a whole lot of tropical fun.
The production marks the Mac-Haydn directorial debut of Clint Hromsco. Previously, Hromsco was associate director/choreographer for last season’s Sister Act. Elizabeth Yanick serves as associate director/choreographer. Together, they bring this laid-back, beachside story to life with a perfect mix of laughter and heart.

The cast features Mikey Marmann in his Mac-Haydn debut as carefree singer-songwriter Tully, opposite Amelia Barr as Rachel, the ambitious tourist who changes his tune. Filled with Buffett’s signature hits—including “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Volcano,” and of course, “Margaritaville”—the show promises a musical vacation for audiences of all ages.
Adding to the island atmosphere, the Mac-Haydn Theatre will offer frozen margaritas for sale at every performance, so guests can sip, sway, and sing along in true Parrothead fashion.
Soak up the sun, the songs, and the spirit of Jimmy Buffett—without leaving Chatham. Escape to Margaritaville runs August 21–31 at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. Tickets are available now at www.machaydntheatre.org or by calling the box office at (518) 392-9292.
