Waterfront Wednesdays

Hudson, NY — Operation Unite NY, The Hudson Arts Coalition and The Hudson Sloop Club are pleased to announce Waterfront Wednesdays 2021 in the Henry Hudson Riverfront Park!

Waterfront Wednesdays is back this year with even more offerings including weekly musical concerts, dance performances, drum circles, boat excursions, interactive educational programming, BBQ and more!

Running each Wednesday from Independence Day through Labor Day (July 7th through September 1) from 5pm until sunset. Also new this year is a shuttle bus connecting the Riverfront Park with the 7th Street park, and six times throughout the season the Hudson Sloop Club will create a link between land and shore by hosting accessible, family-friendly programming introducing people to the Hudson River and it’s ecology.

On Water participants for 2021 include: the Schooner Apollonia, the Sloop Clearwater, the catamaran Impossible Dream, the solar-powered launch Solaris, the Sloop Eleanor, the Hudson Athens Lighthouse and our local sightseeing boat the Spirit of Hudson.

Each Wednesday some of these vessels will participate. Calendar forthcoming and more details about each below.

On Land participants include: Operation Unite NY, SPARK of Hudson, The Literacy Fund, Larry’s BBQ, Ujima Community Collective Drum Circle, Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, Kite’s Nest Regen Program, Hudson Hall, The Maker, The Wick Hotel, Natural 7 Alchemy and Marybeth’s Monograms.

There will always be a table at Waterfront Wednesdays dedicated to helping you understand what’s available that week. Simply come on down and we will help you sign up for an opportunity to get out on the water or maybe do a little fishing. All ages/genders/ abilities/backgrounds/experience levels are welcome!
