Mapping Early New York: 3D New Amsterdam

The Jacob Leisler Institute for the Study of Early New York History, in collaboration with the Hudson Area Library and the Columbia County Libraries Association, hosts a presentation, Impressions of a New World: Jacob Leisler, Nicasius de Sille, and the promised Eden of 1660s New Amsterdam by Toya Dubin. This virtual talk will illustrate New Amsterdam during 1660 and includes an introduction to a 3D map, as well as the stories behind the work to maintain historical accuracy in this model.
