Miguel Berrios, ISA Forester, conducted a full inventory of Hudson Park and Street Trees in 2021. He will present his findings and an overview of his Hudson Community Forestry Management Plan. This plan outlines immediate needs, short- and long-term goals for creating a healthy diverse, native species tree canopy for the City of Hudson.
This is the culmination of the work funded by the NYS DEC Urban Forestry Department; the result of a grant written by the Hudson Conservation Advisory Council.
As you very likely already know, trees work very hard for us, they sequester carbon, retain soil, drink up storm water, shade our buildings, aid in reducing cooling costs, create oxygen and so much more …. All while looking beautiful.
Let’s learn what we can do for our trees.
