I will be back at the FABULOUS Hudson Farmers’ Market, selling freshly-baked (that morning), from-scratch cookies, including the popular Existential Crisis cookies!
New York Steelhead Trout from Hudson Valley Fisheries is a great new vendor at the Hudson Farmers’ Market. This fish is sustainably grown, LOCAL (right here in Hudson!), and free of antibiotics, hormones, and vaccines.
If you are going to eat fish, this is the fish to eat.

COVID-protocols are in place at the Hudson Farmers’ Market – we are still in TWO parking lots. Look for me in the lot behind City Hall, next to the electric car chargers, in front of the bright chartreuse car.

The Hudson Farmers’ Market moves back outside on April 24, 2021. Rain or shine, vendors set up every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm until the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 20th We are pleased to announce our new Market Coordinator, Brandon Bjerke, who can be found in the info tent located at the entrance to the County DMV lot. All COVID regulations are in force, including recommended distances and customer limits, as well as required masks for everyone. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the market. Vendors will be spread between the County DMV lot and the City parking lot, (both parking lots on Columbia between 5th and 7th Streets) and customers can access a vendor location map on the Market website.
New vendors include Shaker Creek Farm with seasonal vegetables and apple cider; Edenesque bringing artisanal nut milks; Hany’s Harvest with fire ciders, cider vinegar and other root infusions; Hudson Valley Fisheries with steelhead trout from their local recirculating aquaculture facility; Wayward Lane Brewing with craft beer offerings. Two guest spots celebrate a rotating selection of artists and craft persons with specialized offerings that complement the market philosophy of supporting small and independent local businesses. The popular music tent provides an opportunity to enjoy the performances of local musicians as customers shop.
The Market prides itself on having everything customers need to make a great meal, including locally grown fruits and vegetables in season as well as mushrooms, meats and fish, eggs and dairy, prepared foods, beverage options, and fresh flowers. The Market will open with bedding plants and vegetable starts as well as vegetables ready to go.
Returning farm vendors include Bonhomie Farm, Blue Star Farm, Farm at Miller’s Crossing, Scarecrow Farm, Martin FarmFresh, Samascott Orchards, Red Oak Farm, Northern Star Farm, Township Valley Farm, Chaseholm Dairy, Ardith Mae Farmstead, Sparrowbush Farm, Raven and Boar, and Highland Farm. Cedar Flower Farm offers fresh-cut bouquets. Other vendors are PuraVida Fisheries, Trixie’s Oven, Spacey Tracy Pickles, Rock n Raw/Cooperstown Cheese, Happy Belly, Micosta, Hudson Chatham Winery, Berkshire Mountain Distillery, and Billy’s Italian Market. The EBT/SNAP services will be located at the information tent. Users may swipe their benefit card to receive a wooden coin equivalent to one dollar for each SNAP dollar they request. These $1 coins are only for use at the Hudson Farmers’ Market. Participants will also receive a $2 FreshConnect check for every $5 they use, increasing their food purchases by 40 percent. Both the wooden coins and the FreshConnect checks are accepted by all vendors for any SNAP permitted products. Vendors offering fresh fruits and vegetables welcome Farmers’ Market Nutrition Checks and Senior FMNP checks..
Since 1997, the Hudson Farmers’ Market has worked to connect regional agriculture and local food craftspeople directly to consumers. Starting with five vendors, it now boasts over 30 farms and other purveyors.
