Hudson Area Library Book & Bake Sale March 15, 16 & 17, 2024

The Friends of the Hudson Area Library in Hudson, NY are excited to announce its next Book & Bake Sale will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday March 15-17.

Come to the community room at the library, 51 N. 5th St, Hudson, NY to buy new and gently used children’s and adults’ books and homemade baked treats.  There will be a wide variety of books, including contemporary novels, biographies, history books, cookbooks, humor, and how-to books, among many others.  There will be many DVDs and CDs to choose from as well. We have a generous donation of sewing patterns for both clothes and crafts. All proceeds are used to support the library and its wonderful community programs.

Credit cards are accepted.

To make our offerings even more exciting and contribute to the library, please donate new or gently used books, DVDs, and CDs. The library accepts one small bag or box per week per person:

• Please donate hardcover and paperback books, fiction and nonfiction, in good/clean condition (not dusty, mildewed, water damaged or torn).
• DVDs and CDs in good, playable condition are welcomed.
• Please don’t bring reference books, textbooks, study guides, guidebooks, journals, library discards, VHS tapes, cassettes, books on tape, magazines or newspapers.
• Bring donations to the library staff during normal library hours – do not leave them in book drops or outside of the library. Please bring books before the sale starts — the last drop off for this sale is Monday March 11.
