Owner Ivy Dane moved to Hudson five years ago and post pandemic pivoted her previous career and decided to open a shop dedicated to children’s provisions. “I love little people and their miniature things.” says Ivy Dane. “Everything around here is irresistibly cute and gives me great joy. It’s wonderful being able to share that.”
Sweet babies come into the store and offer unsolicited smiles when you greet them.

As soon as you walk into Rebus, you notice the store is bright, airy, and fun! There are felt panda change purses, happy face handbags, and plenty of unicorns, rainbows, and dinosaurs. You begin to wonder if they have that style in adult sizes, or maybe you can carry a small rainbow purse yourself? How fun is that?
The clothing is sorted by size, regardless of gender. All clothing and accessories are appropriate for all children. Rebus is a welcomed option for families who want something slightly different. The styles range from classic to unique and will make the perfect, memorable gift. Rebus is the place to go if you do not know what to buy, and Ivy is happy to make suggestions. Rebus also offers a selection of Hudson souvenirs – ideal for tourists, visitors, and those of us who love Hudson.
The first Rebus Spring Fashion Show is on Saturday, May 18th at 10am. Local children who are tickled to be models for the day, will be sporting the latest styles from designers such as Tiny Cottons, Molo, and so many others.
The Rebus children’s Spring Fashion Show will be the most adorable event in the City.
