How is everyone doing? I listen to Andrew Cuomo every morning around lunchtime, to give me some hope about re-opening and we can go back to our regular “normal” lives.
There’s plenty to do and watch while staying home! Ryder and Cameron at Club Helsinki Hudson every Tuesday night at 7pm. Also, the Bindlestiff are still performing and offering after school sessions. Look in the TrixiesList.com Calendar.
If you or a friend are doing virtual shows, please SUBMIT AN EVENT in the Trixie’s List calendar! Once an event is posted, they are reviewed and approved.
True story – Someone asked me this week – “Are there some events that you would NOT approve, Trixie?”
I said, “Yes, there’s spam, there’s crazy people putting up nonsense. Profanity.” I think it’s a good idea to have a ‘curated’ list.
THEN, he asked me, “What if I wanted to host a swinger’s party?”
I said, “Yeah, no…that wouldn’t make it. Plus, do you really WANT to host a swinger’s party in Hudson? It’s a small town. You’ll see them the next day in Shoprite…”
Let’s keep it clean, Hudson. There’s plenty of other websites on the interwebs for all that!
What CAN you do on this website?
Submit an Event – The event calendar stays up on every page, even on your phone. Click on the date and see events posted for that date.
Community Forum – In the FORUM (once you log-in with a valid email address and username/password) you can post a TOPIC in a CATEGORY.
You can post a RESPONSE to a TOPIC. You can COMMENT on either/both the Topic or the Response. You can VOTE on these Topics/Responses by pressing the up/down arrow. Votes will move the Topics/Responses up/down the list. You can also FOLLOW categories and get an email when there’s a new Response. (It’s like reddit.)
BIZ LISTINGS – I listed businesses that are open and serving during these COVID times. If there’s a business that’s open and operating that I missed, please let me know and SUBMIT a Business Listing.
