Stephen King’s Sleepwalkers w/ Sleepover Trading Co. & Cat on the Corner
Sleepover Trading Co. and Cat on the Corner are partnering to present the puuuuuurfect summer horror movie (for a village called Cats-kill).
Join us on July 23rd for a screening of Stephen King’s totally bonkers 1992 film Sleepwalkers. Charles and Mary Brady are a pair of shapeshifting werecat vampires that feed off the lifeforce of virgin women (Yes, you read that correctly). Their only weakness? The scratch of a common domestic housecat!
The first film written by King not based on one of his preexisting works, Sleepwalkers is directed by Mick Garris, the creator of “Masters of Horror”, director of “Critters 2” and co-writer of “Hocus Pocus” and stars genre icons Brian Krause (“Charmed”), Madchen Amick (“Twin Peaks”), Ron Perlman (“Hellboy”), Glenn Shadix (“Beetlejuice”) and Alice Krige (The Borg Queen in “Star Trek”).
This screening will kick off with an exclusive pre-film clip show featuring specially curated trailers, commercials and tons of cat clips. The pre-show begins at 7:00pm with the film at 7:30pm at the Avalon Lounge (29 Church Street, Catskill, NY). Full food & beverage menu available.
