Hudson Home and Talbott & Arding Celebrate with Book Launch Event
Interior design shop/showroom, Hudson Home, in Hudson, NY, will celebrate the launch of LOVE with a special event at the shop on Sunday, June 22nd, during Hudson’s Pride Parade weekend. The event will take place from 12:00–3:00 PM and will be catered by Talbott & Arding, the co-sponsor of the event, and Klocke Estate and Whitecliff Winery will be providing a signature cocktail. Guests who purchase a copy of the book will be entered to win a pair of Houe outdoor chairs, and Malin and Goetz will be providing goody bags. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Frankie Frankeny and explore the stories within LOVE.
Author Frankie Frankeny is the founder of GoodDoxie Studios, a celebrated photographer, director, and producer who has documented the marriage equality movement since 2004. The book includes forwards by John Casey, a senior editor and writer at The Advocate, Jim Obergefell, the lead plaintiff in Obergefell v. Hodges, a prominent civil rights activist, Evan Wolfson, author of Why Marriage Matters and recipient of the Presidential Citizens Medal, who played a pivotal role in securing marriage equality, and Contributions from Marc Solomon, Jennifer Finney Boylan, and other key figures further enrich this essential chronicle of progress.
