FINAL SATURDAY: Friends of Deborah Masters TWO

Grab your friends for art, drinks and conversation! Visitors are invited to “Friends of Deborah Masters TWO” on it’s final Saturday, July 19th, from 12 – 5pm at Deborah Masters Studio in Chatham. Free to the public, the new gallery displays works by Deborah Masters, as well as a group show featuring local, NYC and international artists

The large and airy studio was built for massive sculptural projects (gantry and molds used in Masters’ process are also on display), and the studio and park-like grounds now house several monumental concrete pieces by Masters, as well as her works on paper, in plaster, bronze, and clay. The light-filled studio has been renovated to display the group shows in the center of the space.

Friends of Deborah Masters TWO includes artists Peter Bellamy, Claude Carone, Dan Devine, Cathy Diamond, Marianne Gagnier, David Klampman, Erika Karl, Wendy Klemperer, Peter Lundberg, Liliana Malta, James Nelson, Thaddeus Radell, Vel Riberto, Kim Sloane and Fritz Welch.  Works encompass everything from a paperfall, howling steel animals, photography, drawings, paintings, and collage, to monumental to miniature sculpture in wood, bronze, and ceramics.

Meet the artists and explore the grounds and studio, enjoy a drink and join the conversation and community around the studio’s big table.

Please no dogs!
