Chiarra Hughes-Mba also known as Chimba is a multifaceted artist from Hudson. Chimba left Hudson to pursue her dream and obtain degrees in Fashion Design, Computer Graphics, and Fine Arts which has allowed her to work in several professions, Fashion Design being a dominant one in her career. Fashion also shares a seat at the table with her other passions: painting and writing. She is the author of a novel called Micheal Rogue – Life Unscripted. Her painting career began to blossom when she lived in Hokkaido, Japan. Discover Chimba’s artwork at Hudson Open Studios, Oct 11-12, 2025.
David Lawton’s new chapbook The Graveyard of Memory is available from Bottlecap Press. His recent work has appeared in Other Rooms Press, The Closed Eye Open, and Maintenant 19. Pixie Dust, the debut album from Hydrogen Junkbox, his lo-fi /DIY / anti-folk band with poets Aimee Herman and Eric Alter, is available on most major streaming services.
Jane LeCroy serves the Poetry Gods as a featured character in the Poetry Brothel NYC. She is a teaching-artist bringing love of poetry to students and publishing their work through various programs like Uptown Stories. She sets her poetry to music in her bands: Ω▽(Ohmslice), the experimental modular synth project, and The Icebergs, an avant-pop band of cello and drums. Three Rooms Press published Jane’s multimedia book of lyrical poems, Signature Play. Pink Trees Press published her latest poetry collection, Spellbook of Ordinary Mistakes.
